Representation Summary:

The land is very close to existing terrace of Grade 2 listed buildings and would create a risk of overbearing the properties including my property.
Site is subject to poor bus services, steep topography, poor access to local amenities such as schools, medical centres and dentists.
Local traffic is already very busy and 10 new houses would exacerbate this; Hill Top Road is very narrow and further parking would cause problems. The site is close to Thornton Cricket Club and in summer matches take place on a regular basis causing problems with traffic and parking.
Drainage would require extensive work; currently when we have heavy rainfalls James Street resembles a river.
Flora and fauna: protected species' habitat would be compromised.
The urban sprawl continues, we shall soon have no countryside to enjoy.
