Objection to Stockheld Rd Reasons: The river floods yearly and surface run off from additional building will add to that. This area is a conservation area and the Old Packhorse Bridge a national monument so the charm of the area looking back to the Church and the Pennine way will be severely compromised aesthetically and historically. This is one of the reasons Ilkley is so famous and charming, please don't allow that to be eroded. There are not enough parking areas and Bridge Road is a rat run for traffic avoiding the lights on Skipton Road therefore dangerous to Children older people and tourists who will not be familiar with this danger. Infrastructure is under stress re :Schools and Health services already. Finally the semi rural views and tranquilty enjoyed by Middelton Road residents will be impaired and privacy compromised undermine our quality of life and significant financial investment.
