Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 10707

Received: 19/03/2021

Respondent: Alan North

Representation Summary:

Other sites available in Bradford that are brown belt, without building in Green Belt.
There is a site at the end of Green Lane, Baildon, there is a wooded area known as the Knoll, Baildon , which is vastly overgrown and neglected, what about the waste land called Baildon Green.
The area around the proposed site is environmentally delicate and building will threaten the delicate balance in the valley.
The level of traffic at school times is far in excess of the usage originally planned. It is almost impossible to actually get out of the road when parents are delivering or picking up children from school.
This will also have a knock on effect on surrounding roads, for example the junction of Roundwood Road/Otley Road is becoming increasingly dangerous due to the level of traffic in constant use. There seems to be no quiet time other than after 7pm.
