Representation Summary:

Land at Queensbury Golf Course should be allocated for housing development. A sustainable location, near to local shops, schools, amenities, facilities and a bus stop, as well as directly abutting proposed allocation QB4/H. No difference in the location and sustainability of site and QB4/H.

The Town Centre High Street, Tesco Store and bus services to Bradford and Halifax are less than 10 minutes walk away (600m to the north). Local shopping parade is also within 250m. Schools and medical centres available within less than 20 minutes walk (1.2km away). A bus stop located is directly outside the site for those that are less mobile and may require assistance to get to the town centre.

Access is unconstrained from Brighouse Road. The site is well screened by mature trees to the southern boundary - would provide a permanent and defensible new Green Belt boundary. Site is available, suitable, achievable and deliverable.
