Representation Summary:

•Sites are Green Belt. Purpose to stop towns from continually spreading outwards.
•Countryside is valuable resource. Should not be developed to meet government housing targets.
•Development of brownfield sites for shops rather than unnecessary shops is more environmentally friendly.
•Developments will ruin local countryside and destroy natural animal and plan habitats.
•Schools and Doctors in Baildon are both at capacity. Other local service are being removed (library).
•Roads already struggle with high traffic volumes. Road network into and out of Baildon is completely congested. Can take 50 minutes to travel between Baildon and Bradford in rush hour.
•Cars increase pollution.
•Should make use of area with better transport links.
•All new housing should be built with solar panels
•Cheap housing is not environmentally friendly
•Council should push for a sustainable model with a low carbon footprint.
