Respondent: Amanda Swift

Representation Summary:

Concerns include increased footfall, noise and use of path as a short cut/rat run to Wibsey. Already have problems with congestion due parents parking at the school to drop off children.

Sewer runs through the field – will damage be rectified at the Council’s cost?

Area has historically had coal mines.

Building 44 houses on a green belt area, would increase the flood risk for adjacent properties.

Where is the proposed access points for traffic?

Building close to existing property may cause structural damage to foundations and property wall. Want to know how close development will be and who will be liable for damage.

Loss of view, increase in light pollution and noise. Additional cars will increase noise and parking problems.

Field is used for a safe area for children to play and dog walkers. Assume that the existing path will be retained?

Where will the construction vehicles have access?
