Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 13078

Received: 24/03/2021

Respondent: Christine Crowther

Representation Summary:

Access issues - cannot be solved by a second access from within Langley Lane area as he roads in the area end up in Roundwood Road. All existing roads are narrow, dangerous and cannot be widened and have many parked cars. This is a dangerous bottleneck now and would be only become more dangerous with more traffic. The road bridge does not have footpaths. More cars would be completely unacceptable.
School access causes issues at the start and end of the school day (roads and parking).
Local schools at capacity and oversubscribed.
The land in question is part of the beautiful historical valley is used by many locals as a recreation area. Additional housing here would significantly damage the area. The infrastructure for drainage and access for large vehicles unsatisfactory.
