Despite recent alterations to Ilkleys parking problems they have not gone away. This site would be ideal for a car park rather than additional housing. If the bathing water for the Wharfe is successful and now with the refurbishment of the outdated toilets on the cards visitor numbers could increase. This, as a car park, rather than additional housing, should benefit the town.
