This field was gifted to the working people of Addingham under the Enclosures Act and was to be set aside for Allotments.
Turner Lane is used extensively by local residents for exercise, many have expressed their appreciation of the rural character of the lane.
The current drainage system cannot cope with the current number of houses in Turner Lane and Moor Lane. Increased risk of flooding.
160 extra cars will significantly increase noise, congestion, pollution and risk of injury.
People do not adhere to the 20mph speed limit on Moor Lane. Children will be at risk of injury or worse with increased traffic.
Loss of Green Belt land. It will greatly diminish the setting of the village from the Western side, spoiling the character and appearance of Addingham.
Addingham has been allocated too many houses overall. It is a small village with limited services but has been allocated a bigger percentage of new houses than any other.
Local schools are oversubscribed.
