SH4/H is green belt land never intended for development. It provides relief from local urban sprawl and dwindling habitat for diverse wildlife. Further it provides essential natural drainage for runoff water from the surrounding hills - construction of houses and paving will increase the frequency of flash floods around Bingley which is a regular occurrence.
Traffic will increase and congestion will spread to nearby roads as ‘rat-runs’ and Nab Wood Drive is already subject to heavy use as a short cut, often at excessive speed.
On street parking will increase the dangers and restrict access if needed by emergency vehicles.
