The site adjoins the built extent of Baildon and currently lies within the Green Belt with existing built development to the south and east. The site benefits from direct access from Meadowside Road in the south west corner of the site. It is relevant to note that the site plan contained in the local Plan consultation documents is
incorrect, a land registry plan is enclosed with this representation which confirms direct access is available from Meadowside Road. The proposed allocation BA5/H requires amendment to address this fundamental error.
The site comprises a natural extension to the settlement to provide additional sustainable housing in Baildon.
The representation statement makes comments on the preferred policy options of the Local Plan in the broad context of this site and its location adjacent to the Local Growth Centre of Baildon,
