Representation Summary:

Please re-read your own assessment and see that this development in this spot cannot be tolerated. It does multiple forms of damage to the community and environment, as you acknowledge, including worsening already poor air quality, risking the growing numbers of adults and kids with respiratory conditions. It trashes a precious unspoilt corner of rural England, unaltered for centuries. In an acknowledged green belt. And it fails to properly acknowledge the need to protect built heritage, in an area which heritage should be particularly proudly celebrated. Can Shipley really afford to lose more green space and heritage than it already has done? Can we afford to have worsened air quality when we are already shamefully and dangerously polluted? Can Bradford Council afford to institute a development which it acknowledges will make multiple targets harder to reach? Please, just say no.
