KY19/H is a greenfield site.
Again, the land itself is waterlogged as can be seen at the village hall adjacent to this site where a pump installed by Bradford Council is in operation 24/7 to drain away the water.
The proposed access is close to the crossroads and if we were to add these 39 dwellings to the 103 outlined above there would be a significant impact on this area of the village.
It is already quite dangerous at the busy junction of Calton Road, Moss Carr Road, Long lee Lane and Thwaites Brow road
In addition large wagons use this crossroads as a turning circle once the drivers realise they cannot access the by-pass via The Twines.
The impact assessment fails to show that the road would not be able to accommodate a further 142 houses with 2 cars per household minimum without serious traffic intervention modifications.
