KY40/H is also part of this urban creep and again is greenbelt. Together with KY36/H this would have a detrimental impact on the local residents who currently have to exercise extreme caution when using this junction.

The main road into Keighley is limited to one way at Coney Bridge over the river and the railway viaduct runs overhead, therefore restricting any alteration to the current road lay out. This road cannot possibly support the increase in traffic as a result of the above proposed developments, the 3 proposed sites at Parkwood Rise, in addition to the current development on Long lee Lane and the proposed development on land located directly next to the bridge, yet the Local plan makes no provision for upgrading the road system in this area.
