Building on a greenfield site adjacent to greenbelt land ignores the climate crisis we are experiencing. It will increase the flooding risk of surrounding areas, contribute to worsening air pollution and will have a negative impact on the beauty of the area. At the same time, the need for further infrastructure appears to have not been considered. There are no advantages to this proposed development.
