I do not agree with the plan to develop on Stockeld Road, Ilkley. This site is in a quiet conservation area close to historic building such as the church and old river bridge. It will close off views to the river and park from properties on Middleton Road, Stockeld Rise, Stockeld Way and Bridge Lane. Parking in this area is already a problem due to the proximity to the park and walking routes and the introduction of 9 properties with potentially up to 3 cars per household will make this worse. It will affect prices of nearby properties.
