*Oakworth is a small rural community that would be damaged by further development and additional housing.
*Further development would be of no benefit to current local residents, and would actually be detrimental to quality of life.
*The local infrastructure and facilities are already stretched and at capacity, supporting the current population.
*As stated, car ownership is already high with 75% of houses possessing one, which is due to the limited number of public transport options and limited work in the area. Additional development would further increase car ownership and traffic on already busy country roads, with associated pollution and impact on air quality.
