Representation Summary:

I believe this site to be very poorly located and expands the town in entirely the wrong place. If access were available via Ben Rhydding Drive, I might have a different view. But without it, it will increase car traffic significantly on Wheatley Grove - much more than is reasonable. As the assessment recognises, with the exception of pedestrian access to the station, the site is otherwise poorly connected to other amenities, and is therefore likely to have a high degree of reliance on car travel.

While I am not opposed to greenbelt development as a matter of course (I support the Countances Way site) this will largely wipe out open green space in this area and will fundamentally change the character of the area.

As a side issue, listing access to semi-natural habitats at a private golf course is disingenuous.
