The land is unstable. Permission was refused to build a new grammar school. Over-development of a green field site. Increased traffic going into Ilkley and onto the A65 via a narrow underpass under the railway. The Ilkley Grammar School and local primary schools are full.

With the massive development agreed for Burley-in-Wharfedale there should be no need for building on this Green Field land.
