I oppose the development of greenbelt sites. I have explained my concerns about cutting into the moors and that this is the last strip of green fields on West Lane in my objection to BA2/H. In addition to this I am concerned about the number of homes proposed on this site. There is a suggestion that this site would benefit the education SA objective. Figures available on the UK Government website suggest Sandals school is currently oversubscribed by 28 places. Can you elaborate on what steps will be taken to help Sandals cope with 127 new dwellings within its immediate catchment (BA1/H, BA2/H, BA6/H)? I think this is a short sighted development which will irrevocably destroy a significant chunk of greenbelt land whilst negatively impacting both existing and potential new residents of the area. Brownfield sites should be prioritised.
