There is already excessive traffic on Cottingley Cliffe Road and the existing users of Bankfield road as a "Rat Run" do so dangerously and at excessive speed, unsuitable for the conditions. Speeding cars in the surrounding area are already a danger, adding to Adding to this will be a danger to life. The Woods in question are home many types of wildlife including Bats, Foxes, Deer and Birds.
