I support the Queensbury Golf Club site being included in the local plan. More housing is needed in Queensbury and believe that the local infrastructure would support more housing. QGC represents a better site than the one on Fleet Lane in that it is near to shops, schools, amenities facilities and a bus stop. It is directly abutting a proposed allocation QB4/H and there is no difference in the location and sustainability of the golf course and QB4/H. Tesco's and High Street with bus services to Halifax and Bradford are less than 10 minute walk away. A local parade of shops is 3 minutes walk away as well as schools and medical centre less than 20 minutes walk away. There is also a bus stop directly outside the site for people who need it. It is adjoining a main road providing easy access.
