Representation Summary:

Land at Queensbury Golf Course should be allocated housing development. The site is in a sustainable location, near to local shops, schools, amenities, facilities and a bus stop, as well as directly abutting a proposal allocation.QB4/H. There is no difference in the location and sustainability of the golf course site and the QB4/H.
The town centre high street, Tesco Store and associated bus services to Bradford and Halifax are all less than 10 mins walk away at approximately 600m to the north .A local parade of shops is also within 250m to the north. Schools and medical centres are available within less than a 20 minute walk at 1.2km away. there is also a bus stop located directly outside of the site for those who are less mobile and may require assistance to get to the town centre.
