Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 2058

Received: 18/03/2021

Respondent: Miss Lisa Hustler

Representation Summary:

The village is massively over built. The main road is constantly congested, and access through the village with narrow roads and parked cars makes walking through and driving through hazardous. The school is at full capacity, with no additional space to expand. We no longer have a doctors surgery and do not feel the infrastructure is in place to accommodate new properties. The access is also through a housing estate that already has lots of passing, speeding traffic to access other streets. I'm not a resident on that street, but if I were I would be concerned with safety of my children with the additional traffic. Get looking for brown belt sites, there are plenty around the Keighley area, that is now a ghost town with empty properties. Invest where needed, don't just move out!
