Representation Summary:

The land at Queensbury Golf Course should be allocated for housing development. The site is in a sustainable location, near to local shops, schools, amenities, facilities and a bus stop, as well as directly abutting a proposal allocation QB4/H. There is no difference in the location and sustainability of the golf course site and the QB4/H.

The town centre high street, Tesco supermarket store and associated bus service to Bradford and Halifax are all less than a ten minute walk away at approximately 600 metres to the North. A local parade of shops is also within 250 metres to the North. Schools and medical centres are available within less than a twenty minute walk at 1.2km away. There is also a bus stop located directly outside of the site for those that are less mobile and may require assistance to get to the town centre.
