As residents of Ilkley we would like to make our views known regarding the proposed housing development in the Ilkley area.

We strongly object to the proposals on the basis that green land will be used and the overall effect is of a general sprawl of the town and surrounding countryside. Ilkley is already extremely congested in the summer months and these developments will only make the problem worse with a slow, but sure detraction to a popular visitor destination.
