Representation Summary:

Land at Queensbury Golf course should be allocated for housing development. The site is in a sustainable location, near to local shops, school, amenities, facilities and public transport, as well as directly abutting a proposal allocation QB4/H. There is no difference in the location and sustainability of the golf course site and the QB4/H.

The Town centre high street, Tesco store and associated bus services to Bradford and Halifax are all less than a 10 minute walk away at approximately 600m to the north. A local parade of shops is also within 250m to the north. Schools and medical centres are available within less than a 20 minute walk at 1.2km away.

There is also a bus stop located directly outside of the site for those that are less mobile and may require assistance to get to the town centre.
