SH6/H, Bankfield Farm, Nabwood, 49, is a green site supporting flora and fauna, prone to flooding (as suffered by residents in nearby Branksome Drive) and, if developed, will put more stress on the already inadequate A650. It is not sufficient to say this road will "need improvement". There is no space to improve it and extra traffic will add to the bottle necks at Saltaire, with its World Heritage site, and Cottingley roundabout. The air quality levels are already very poor. Extra traffic will make the air quality worse. Combined with the proposed neighbouring SH5/H development, these sites are not in walking distance of a rail station. They are also a green buffer between communities and should be preserved.
