Representation Summary:

Land at Queensbury Golf Course should be allocated for housing development. The site is in a sustainable location, near to local shops, schools, amenities, facilities and a bus stop, as well as directly abutting a proposal allocation QB4/H. There is no difference in the location and sustainability of the Golf Course site and the QB4/H. The town centre high street, Tesco store and associated bus services to Bradford and Halifax are less than a 10min walk away at approximately 600 metres to the north. A local parade of shops is also within 250 metres to the north. Schools and medical centres are available within less than a 20 min walk at 1.2km. There is also a bus stop located directly outside of the site for those less mobile and may require assistance to get to the town centre.
