Representation Summary:

The land at Queensbury Golf Club should be allocated for housing development. The site is in a sustainable location, near to local shops, schools, amenities, facilities and a bus stop, as well as directly abutting a proposal allocation Q84/H. There is no difference in the location and sustainability of the golf course site and the Q84/H.
The Town Centre High Street, Tesco Store and associated bus services to Bradford and Halifax are all less than a 10 minute walk away at approximately 600m to the north. A local parade of shops is also within 250m to the north. Schools and medical centres are available within less than a 20 minute walk away at 1.2km away. There is also a bus stop located outside the site for those that are less mobile and may require assistance to get to the town centre.
