The very narrow country lanes around and leading to the proposed site on Crack Lane are already subject to more traffic than they can handle. Serious road widening would be necessary to provide acceptable access to this site.
But my fundamental objection is that the tenant farmer has already been banned from using this field for his cattle, which had historically been the case. This is a cynical strategy by the land owner to have the status of this field changed from agricultural in order to, ultimately obtain permission to build houses on it. At a time when the country needs its farmers more than ever it is appalling that a hard working farmer is having his livelihood threatened by such tactics
