Housing Need and Requirement

In summary these representations set out that CBMDC is unjustified in not applying the 35% urban area uplift, which it is required to do as one of the 20 largest urban areas in the country.

Furthermore it has not adequately justified any deviation from the application of the Standard Methodology for the assessment of Local Housing Need (LHN). Accordingly, it is Persimmon’s position that the Local Plan should be based upon 2,300 dwellings per annum.
