Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 262

Received: 18/02/2021

Respondent: Miss Holly Mclean

Representation Summary:

The proposed area for development is home to local wildlife including a family of deer, wild owls and birds, destroying their habitat would have a huge impact on the environment alongside the added fumes and pollutants from the additional traffic. Pasture Avenue and Oakworth are already conjested. There are not enough facilities, the Doctor's surgery is currently closed. The proposed development also takes over a children's play area, limiting their access to open space over the coming years. This contradicts the government's priority of supporting children's development, social interactions and mental health well-being following the impact of the pandemic.
