Traffic issues- creating rat runs, parking restricting access for emergency services. Will exacerbate existing huge problems re congestion - this area sees very high volume of traffic and there are serious issues with queuing on the main road.Lack of infrastructure in area- schools full, can’t register with GO/ dentist. No shops nearby- increase car use. Pollution in designated clean air zone . Carbon footprint consideration in time of climate emergency. Threat to wildlife and their habitats( bats) . Existing community looses engagement with the green space . Contravenes PHE directive about maintaining green space- vital for supporting mental health and well being.
