Representation Summary:

Land atQueensbury Golf Course should be allowed for housing development. The site is in a sustainable location, near to local shops, schools, amenities, facilities & a bus stop, as well as directly abutting a proposal allocation QB4/H. Thre is no difference in the location & sustainability of the golf course site & the QB4/H.
The Town Centre High Street, Tesco Store &associated bus services to Bradford & Halifax are all less than a 10 minute walk away at approximately 600m to the north. Schools & medical centres are available within less than a 20 minute walk at 1,2km away. A local parade of shops is also available within 250m to the north. There is also a bus stop located directly outside of the site for those that are less mobile & may require assistance to get to the town centre.
