Representation Summary:

I strongly object as this is greenfield and green belt. It is in UNESCO buffet zone and visible from Saltaire. Any building would be a blot on the landscape.
It’s beautiful open aspect with views up to Baildon moor should be deemed as an AONB (equal to Baildon Moor & Shipley Glen). It is unique and irreplaceable. It is important for residents and visitors alike who stop to admire its beauty.
This land and its wildlife should be protected as it is an important and varied habitat for many bird species including Buzzard,Kestrel, Owls,Lapwing, Heron, curlew and small mammals and deer.
Any building would cause flooding as the land is a natural sponge.
The site connects an important wildlife corridor to Walker wood and the moors.
Public transport inadequate and roads cannot support the increase in traffic. Detrimental for noise and pollution
Housing would not be affordable or eco friendly.
