The site is located opposite The Black Swan Public House and Swan Hill, both Grade II Listed Buildings. There are also two Grade II* Listed Buildings, Frizingley Hall and Frizley Old Hall, 50 metre to the south-east of the site. The development of this area could harm
elements which contribute to the significance of these designated heritage assets. We welcome the inclusion of a reference to the proximity of these designated heritage assets as a Constraint in the sites pro forma, and that the Development Considerations highlight that the design
and layout of development should seek to protect the setting of these heritage assets. This will alert potential developers of the need to take account of those elements which contribute to their significance, and ensure that they are not harmed by development proposals.
