There are lots of little streams coming down from the moor through this space and I am very concerned about the implications of messing with the water courses for both the proposed houses and the houses in the roads below this area. There are often small water outbreaks on the roads around the site when it rains and these are perilous in the winter and I believe these will be worsened by the proposed houses.
If the site is approved, the junction from Wheatley Grove on to Wheatley Lane must be improved. It is already dangerous for pedestrians as the footpath is so narrow, but it also difficult to get two cars past each other.
