Traffic and pollution: Branksome Grove and Branksome Drive just cannot take the extra traffic these houses would incur. The existing residents cars already have to park half off the road and the top of Branksome Grove is hard enough to negotiate even the pelican lights there. The air pollution is already at level 3 which is higher than the world health organisation recommend for residents health and would only increase more.
Flooding : After having been flooded twice ourselves, in 2015 the flood water was over a metre high in the property, it would be irresponsible to take away this land as it soaks up the top water and helps to alleviate the volume.
Wildlife : There is an abundance of wildlife living or using this land , weasels, deer,rabbits,foxes and herons and many species of birds nesting in the trees and hedges.
