Wheatley Grove and Constance Way in particular are both beautiful areas which deserve preservation. The traffic which would increase on Wheatley Lane and Valley Drive wouldn’t be sustainable even with intervention.

The green belt sites in this area are now supporting nesting red kites. Flooding in lower areas is also an issue. The sewage is already a concern for the river wharfe and the rise in houses would be a serious concern for water health.
