Main road, A65 has flooded on many occasions. Building on a flood plane will increase this problem. I feel it is wrong to be building on green belt especially next to a river when there are other potential sites in Bradford which carry less environmental impact. Children in this village already struggle to get places into the local high school at Ilkley Grammar. This development will thus worsen this. The village strongly objected this development with solid reasons and the secretary of state rejected the planning application. I am bewildered and curious as to how the decision can be then changed.
