Risk of flooding - The site is unsuitable and should not be built upon as it is a floodland area.
The lower section of Branksome Drive/Branksome Grove has already been subject to significant floods over recent years - unfortunately something we are experiencing more & more frequently. The existing fields help to support the excess run off, instead slowly releasing it into the river, helping to reduce the risk of flooding overall.
