Ecological factors - The proposed sites contain a wealth of wildlife who rely on these areas as their habitat. Destroying these areas has a huge impact on the local woodlands and wildlife including deer, woodpeckers, rabbits, foxes, insects and birds. Building on these green areas will have a detrimental impact on wildlife as many of these species use these fields as connectors to other green links such as Hirst Wood and further afield to St Ives Estate, Baildon Moor etc.
