Representation Summary:

Land at Queensbury Golf Course should be allocated for housing development, the site is in a sustainable location near to local shops, schools, amenities, facilities and a bus stop, as well as directly abutting a proposal allocation QB4/H. There is no difference in the location and sustainability of the golf course site and the QB4/H.
The Town Centre High Street, Tesco Store and associated bus services to Bradford and Halifax are all less than a 10 minute walk away at approx 600m to the north, a local parade of shops is also within 250m to the North. Schools and medical centres are all available within less than a 20 minute walk at 1.2km away. There is also a bus stop located directly outside of the site for those that are less mobile and may require assistance to get to the town centre.
