Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 354

Received: 21/02/2021

Respondent: Mrs Luciana Parker

Representation Summary:

Loss of habitat for wildlife, mainly hedgehogs and bats which are both struggling.
Loss of trees, which provide nesting and roosting, there remains very little in this area.
Trees absorb co2, important in an area with a known very poor air quality.
Access onto a very busy and fast road
Amenities, such as dentists and doctors, there are none in the area.
Transport links are poor for people who don't drive.
Would the housing be 'affordable'?
Would the housing have solar panels, hedgehog highways?
Shocking that the council can consider building on Green Belt, what next?
