Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 356

Received: 21/02/2021

Respondent: Mrs Luciana Parker

Representation Summary:

Loss of privacy.
Loss of habitat for struggling species, bats, hedgehogs, owls and sparrowhawks.
Loss of mature trees providing nesting, roosting and co2 absorption in an already heavily polluted area.
Access onto a fast road.
No amenities.
Run off onto an existing flood plain.
Building on green belt is unacceptable. The protection should not be stripped to suit developers and council.
There are plenty of brownfield sites which could be developed to enhance the regeneration of Bradford and Shipley.
Would housing be 'affordable' and eco friendly? Hedgehog highways, solar panels, nesting for displaced birds including migratory species?
Thankyou
