This site is important for its position on the approach to Addingham village. It is part of a 'green wedge' planted with trees and pasture opposite Marchup Beck and the nature reserve. Housing on this approach is totally inappropriate.. Hopefully most of this site is undeliverable for development as the current owners will refuse to sell in their lifetime.. For all the reasons given in my previous submissions the location is not a sustainable one and the council should revisit reassessing AD005 as a suitable alternative which has far less impact on the green belt in an accessible location.
