This proposal is for a huge number of dwellings on a large area of greenbelt land that can be seen from main roads and elevated areas. Other developments are also proposed in adjacent areas of Ilkley and Ben Rhydding. This creeping destruction of the greenbelt threatens to merge the two settlements in left unchecked. I also feel that there are many different housing projects proposed along the A65 (including Otley, Bramhope and Adel) and the road infrastructure will not cope with so many additional residents commuting to Leeds.
