Draft Bradford District Local Plan - Preferred Options (Regulation 18) February 2021

Representation ID: 42

Received: 09/02/2021

Respondent: Mr Kristian Blackburn

Representation Summary:

Queensbury is already suffering with problems with traffic, access to primary schools, GP surgeries, and leisure facilities. The Council has systematically reduced facilities within the village, whilst taken advantage of the high amount of council tax being paid to them by Queensbury residents.

In particular, "QB3/H - Black Dyke Mills, Brighouse Road" has had no thought process put behind this site. The area identified provides much needed green space for the residents of the Queensbury Gardens Development and other neighbouring streets. It actually belongs to the management company owned by the residents and is not for sale!
