Flood plain area.
Environmental Agency"building on a flood plain should be resisted"
Bridge Lane is a high risk surface water flooding area. Many houses have pumps to prevent internal flooding. With insufficient "green space" to absorb the surface water it is a frequent occurence that the drains here overflow flooding the road so that it is impassable. When the river overflows water can reach well into the front gardens.
Concrete replacing soil and more concrete driveways will worsen matters.

3
Parking/pollution
9 houses=18 cars. More traffic. The road at this end is heavily used. School parking and for the nursery and locals walking by the river. This increased usage is not beneficial. Make it into a green space for visitors. Or a green area for teenagers.
